Used to remove chemicals, pesticides,  herbicides ,etc from your supply water. A small pre filter is located at the inlet of the cartridge to catch any dirt before entering the carbon. Used to prevent any cysts, parasites, etc (Eg - cryptosporidium, giardia, etc) from entering your drinking water. Life of cartridge is - cleanable for approximately 60,000 litres. PLUS Silver Cannister. A small cannister filled with silver coated crystals to kill any harmful bacteria. It is fitted before the filtration unit to keep the pre filter bacteria free.
